Makes 12-16 bars
These muesli bars are made fertility friendly through the addition of monounsaturated fat, protein, and fibre rich ingredients. They support satisfying those sweet cravings at the same time as providing a filling, wholesome, snack.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup rolled oats
2 Tbsp liquid honey
1.5 Tbsp melted butter
2 Tbsp chia seeds
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup coconut
1/4 cup ground flaxseed
1/4 cup slivered almonds or finely chopped almonds
1/2 cup dried fruit e.g. raisins or finely chopped apricots
Topping: 1/3 cup chocolate chips
Method:
Combine all of the ingredients (apart from chocolate) together in a large bowl.
Once fully combined, press into a baking paper lined 20x20cm dish/ baking tray. Push really hard here to fully mould all of the ingredients together so it doesn't crumble later
Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave by heating and mixing in 30 second bursts
Pour the chocolate over the muesli slice and spread evenly.
Place the slice into the fridge, then slice into bars once the chocolate has set.
Keep either in the fridge or the freezer and enjoy with a cup of tea in the afternoon as a fertility and pregnancy friendly snack!
Note: Make them dairy free by omitting chocolate and swapping butter for coconut oil
